During the numerous years since the inception of Tomorrows Children’s Fund, many of our patients have had to spend their birthday receiving treatment for their devastating disease. These children would wish for the place they would rather be on that special day. Simple wishes of sharing cake and being with loved ones at home or more elaborate wishes of growing up and being healthy. Countless patients had their wishes fulfilled…yet some did not.

If everyone would promise just one birthday, and put their story out for the world to see, it would make a tremendous difference in the lives of our patients. Too often, families face economic distress during this time, quite often one parent may be forced to stop working to care for their sick child, this means one less income, but the bills don’t stop. You can help to change the lives of these patients, and their families.

A parent asked, in lieu of gifts for his 70th birthday, for donations to be sent to TCF in his son’s memory. $2375.00 was donated, this covered the costs for transportation for patient treatment, a rent payment for a family who was struggling, and the food pantry was stocked, all with his Birthday Promise funds.
